If Any Man Be In Christ

No one can be in Christ and be unchanged by Him. When I received Jesus one of the first truths that amazed me was that He had entered into my heart. I was also comforted by the truth that He would never leave me nor forsake me, that He would always be a part of me. As we grow as Christians we learn another amazing truth. We learn that we are also in Him. We are in someone bigger than ourselves and the bigger someone is in us. Jesus being in believers and believers being in Jesus is strange to our mortal minds. When we are in Christ we are also in The Father and in The Spirit. When Christ is in us The Father and The Spirit are also in us. The Bible also teaches that believers are members of one another. It is an amazing and wonderful unity.

2 Corinthians 5:17: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

John 17:21-23: That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

Romans 12:5: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

Galatians 3:28: There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 4:14-18: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. 17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, 18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

Ephesians 1:3, 6: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: . . . 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

There are more truths, realities, beauties, excitement, complexities, simplicities and wonders about being in Christ and having Him in us than one little pea brain such as mine can possibly understand, much less communicate. I do know that being in Him and having Him in me has made me different than I was before. And I am glad of it.
